I'd better start again

In my last blog I gave out about others not blogging, but I haven't posted since 6th July. I don't know where the time has gone. Two weeks of holiday on the boat, a frantic couple of weeks at work, and another week at the Friends World Committee for Consultation triennial meeting in Dublin, lead me to today. I am now exhausted and a bit distressed at the thought that I have no holidays to take between now and Christmas. Oh well!

Ian is searching Cappamore sites to see what could possibly be on in that remote village in Co Tipperary that could require him to be there at 10.30 tomorrow evening. He has just been invited to go there by Clare as she needs someone to ensure that Benjamin doesn't attempt to run after her more than he is already. The machinations of youth!

Ian is also searching house listings for a property for Gran. The developer has appealed on bended knees for her to move out of her house and has offered to pay for everything. There is a really nice house in Churchtown that she is making minor objections to, so he is trying to get her to visit it. Cost is 1.4million, a mere pittance if the developer is to pay for all!

The dogs are very unsettled. Leavy barked and scratched against the kitchen door until 2am last night and the three of them are taking every opportunity to bark at things. This is obviously our punishment for abandoning them last week. Hopefully they will settle down soon.
